The BEG conference copies the practice of the Inns of Court in that it mixes students with practitioners. BEG actively encourages students and pupils to participate in the conference. To this aim BEG will offer a minimum of 5 fully paid scholarships for students and pupils wishing to come to the Dubrovnik conference. The scholarships are funded in the main by several Chambers whose members practise EU law. As ever we are extremely grateful for their continued support.
Applicants must be current Bar students or pupils with an interest in EU Law, or past or present BVC students who have been accepted for pupillage beginning in 2013. The scholarships are usually awarded to candidates in whose future practice EU law is likely to play a prominent role. Scholars will have travel, accommodation and conference fees paid for them. In return they will also publish a conference report in the European Advocate.
Details of how to apply can be found here.
